  • We may request your bank account or other financial details; for instance in the event that we have to make a refund.
  • We may request details of your age as we do not accept bookings from groups of young people.
  • We may request information on mobility issues to ensure that the accommodation suits your needs.

Why do we need your personal data and how we obtain it?
The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reasons:
  • In order that we may manage your reservation and ongoing relationship with you effectively and efficiently.
  • So that we may manage our financial relationship with you securely.
  • So that we may keep you informed of any changes that might affect your reservation with us.
  • So that we may share it with the emergency services (fire, police, ambulance, coastguard etc) in the event of an emergency that might necessitate their involvement.
  • So that we may share it (name and address only) with the local Authority if requested in order to comply with the conditions of our planning permission.
 
We use the information that you have given us in order to manage our business and financial relationship with you and to ensure your welfare so far as we are reasonably able throughout the duration of your visit to our accommodation.

We may share this information with our bank, in order to process payments and refunds etc, the local authority in order to comply with planning conditions, and emergency services.

  • We have a contractual obligation in order to process your reservation with us and any subsequent changes
  • We have a legal obligation to comply with our legal obligations to the local Authority
  • We have a vital interest to ensure the proper use of our property
  • We have a legitimate interest to ensure your welfare so far as we are able during your stay.
 
How we store your personal information
  • Your information is securely stored on our computer system that is password protected.
  • We keep your personal and contact information for 24 months from the commencement date of your reservation in order that we may notify you of new facilities that we may offer in the future. 
  • We keep any financial information until such time as we consider that our financial relationship with you is at an end following a specific transaction. 
  • We will then dispose your information by permanent deletion of the computer record.
 
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
