Enjoy a family seaside holiday in Boulder Cottage in the village of Trevone, near Padstow, Cornwall.
The cottage has a sitting room, open plan kitchen/dining room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, outside shower and washroom/utility, and a lovely, enclosed sunny rear garden with a lawn and space to eat outside.
Key Information: - Boulder Cottage is a semi-detached cottage in Trevone. Trevone Bay is a gently shelving sandy beach with the iconic Round Hole and the popular tidal swimming pool and is situated on the South West Coastal Path. Boulder is within a five minute walk of Trevone beach, three minutes walk of the local hotel and pub and a one minute walk of the Trevone farm shop. Harlyn Bay, with its excellent surfing beach, is a short walk along the coast, whilst a 30 minute walk across fields leads you to Padstow with its famous Stein restaurants, local shops, ferry to Rock and the Camel Bike Trail.
Description: - Enclosed entrance porch with hanging space. Hall with under stairs cupboard and stairs to first floor. Kitchen with double sink unit, dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge and built in hob and cooker with extractor fan over. The kitchen area links to an open plan dining room which has a large extending table with plenty of chairs. There is a sofa and access to the garden and terrace. Sitting room with two large comfortable sofas and an easy chair, smart television with a DVD player and lots of DVDs suitable for both grown ups and little ones. Well stocked book shelves with novels, local interest books and maps. There is gas fired central heating and a log burner in the sitting room for colder evenings.
- Upstairs there are three bedrooms: The front master bedroom has a king size 5′ double, sofa, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is space for a cot and child's bed (supplied). The second bedroom has a standard 4'6" double bed, chest of drawers and a 'sea glimpse'. Bedroom three has an en-suite bathroom with bath, basin and wc. With adult sized 3′ bunk beds, sofa, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, a sea glimpse, it also has space for a cot or an extra child's bed (supplied). Finally a family shower room with spacious walk-in shower, wash basin and wc completes upstairs.
- A particularly attractive feature of Boulder, is its pretty sunny enclosed garden with plenty of outside seating, a terrace and a small lawn with flower borders. There is an under cover storage area for bikes/boards/buggies etc. There is also a hot outside shower for washing off after the beach. A laundry room with sink, extra fridge freezer space and washing machine. An outside wc with basin.
- The outside laundry room is full of useful things for the beach, including lots of different sizes of wet suits - see photographs - wave boards, buckets and spades, wind breaks and beach games. So please don't worry about bringing our own.
- For families, there is a cot, high chair, stair gate and plenty of plastic cups, plates and small cutlery. Various toys, lego, puzzles and lots of children’s books. The enclosed rear garden is safe and has a lawn for games and space to put a paddling pool and to enjoy a BBQ.
- Please note there are a few steps up from the road at the front of the cottage and also from the back door to the terrace and lawn. There is on road parking outside and a further area around the corner towards the Well Parc. The Well Parc Inn also offer parking with reasonable charges.
